Yosemite - Cloud's Rest Hike - Fall 2018
- It’s ~14.8 mile round trip despite what the AllTrails profile says here with ~3,000 feet of elevation gain.
- While a long hike, the switchbacks aren’t too bad (much easier than Four Mile Trail to Glacier Point or Half Dome) and most of the trail is dust/dirt versus the granite/rock you’ll find in the rest of the park.
- Overall a fantastic hike with amazing views of Half Dome and the Valley beyond.
- Try to go on a clearer day and bring layers, as the wind at the top can be fierce!
